P.A.C.E.S (Parent and Child Experiencer Support)

P.A.C.ES. is a NEW Resource that offers parents and children support where it is suspected or known that the child (and possibly the parent) have experienced anomalous events or interactions with other intelligences, and this knowledge may be realised through a child’s drawing, writing, or verbal description of something they perceived.

ETN understands the sensitivity of such a situation, and the potential disruption and distress it might cause for families or unwanted attention from certain agencies if it were known.  All interviews, conversations, meetings and discussions are confidential. Parents may wish to go on the record anonymously to discuss their family’s experiences, and that is something they can request at any time, but there is no pressure to do so.

Initially, a zoom session is offered either as one to one with parents and child/children participating, as parents feel comfortable, and as other families come on board to share their experiences, a group meeting will be offered.

Many adults who come forward to share their testimony often had experiences as a young child – when they were usually not confident to tell parents or too frightened.  ETN seeks to support those whose families realise their children are experiencing unusual events/encounters as can be reported by them, and we hope to bridge the gap and share such experiences in time, where identities and place names can be changed for protection, when ETN reports on such generally.

In the future, if it is requested, ETN may arrange a day workshop for parents and children to attend in person, where the subject can be safely discussed, and the children and parent’s are encouraged to speak about their experiences, the impact on the family, and concerns, using art and writing as a way of communicating events.

A private Facebook group page has been set up to encourage communication and confidence.

These are illustrations showing experiences adults have drawn, from memory of childhood events, and some children’s drawings.
